Who We Are

St. Martin’s is a Christ-centered church

Everything we do centers on Christ and the great things he has done for us. “What we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord” (2 Corinthians 4:5).

St. Martin’s is a Scriptural church

We boldly and unapologetically preach and teach the Word of God, without adding anything to it, subtracting anything from it, or twisting its meaning to fit our own opinions. (Revelation 22:18,19)

St. Martin’s is a Sacramental church

We take the Sacraments seriously because through them Christ gives forgiveness, life, and salvation. We offer Holy Baptism to all who desire it for themselves or their children and we celebrate Holy Communion frequently.  (Titus 3:5-7, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

St. Martin’s is a Confessional church

We are the heirs of the Lutheran Reformation. We hold to and stand upon the historic doctrinal statements known as the Lutheran Confessions. (read them here)

St. Martin’s is a Liturgical church

We use the historic order of service known as the liturgy. The liturgy connects us to believers throughout the millennia and ensures that everything we do centers on Christ. (learn more here)
